Taihong graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China. During PhD studies, he focused on the neural circuitry and molecular mechanisms underlying nociception modulation in C. elegans. As a Postdoctoral fellow in the Zhang laboratory, he currently studies how the insulin-like peptide network regulates learning in C. elegans.
